Review of King of New York (1990) by Richelle S — 03 Jun 2007
One of my all-time favourite films, and I originally purchased it solely for David Caruso's role. The players shine in this gritty crime cult film, but Caruso's role is most surprising since his current status as the TV king of one-liners has tainted early acting achievements such as in this film.
It's a shame more people don't know about this film...this is one of those films that sucks you in and leaves you craving more as the credits roll.
