Slow, mildly arousing diversion. Douglas is kinda fun/mostly sad as the local (as Roger Ebert termed him) "Whiskers McCrazy", the nutjob at the end of the bar who gets kicked out after one drink for weirding everyone out.
Great looking SoCal urban-sprawl-meets-dusty-hill-neighborhood exteriors. Overall, just frustrating.
