Review of King of California (2007) by Jimmy M — 03 Aug 2008

I first saw this movie in the theater, where I was enthralled by the superb acting, and scene stealing had by Anna Khaja, the cop. I watched this again, last night, with Jimmy Mero, where we basically listened to many members of the family asking, "is that your cousin?" every few seconds.

Yet, the gripping kiss, had by Anna with Douglas, and the "stare down" during which they shared a moment of truth reminded me of equals sharing a moment of recognition.
