Review of King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962) by Brock J — 12 Jul 2007
Watched this outside as part of the "Disasterrace" Movie Series in Madison. It's really bad and not in any way worth watching if you are looking for a seriously good movie, but I will say, I laughed pretty steadily.
Evidently the UN gives us our news, Pharm companies bring giant creatures to Japan (Advertising?), Reptiles have a natural weakness to electricity, reptiles and apes are natural enemies that sense each other's presence, and we "oddly enough, we wish King Kong luck on his long journey home.
" This movie is really just unbearably stupid. So to sit down and make fun of it the whole time is enjoyable. To sit down and try to take this seriously would be a fatal mistake.
