King Kong Escapes (1967) C-96m. [1 star] D: Arthur Rankin Jr., Ishirô Honda. Akira Takarada, guy #1 in slightly ripped gorilla suit, guy #2 surrounded by trash can lids. Desperately contrived "followup" to KING KONG VS GODZILLA is worst of all Japanese monster films.
Snarling giant gorilla battles MechaKong, threatening citizens of Japan. Utter crap.
