Review of King Kong (2012) by He H — 02 Jan 2014
Peter Jackson proves he is perhaps Hollywood's greatest tentpole director, especially in regards to his Weta digital effects atelier. From the simian on the poster, to the prehistoric crickets that maul the stranded crew members, the film is a new pinnacle in the field of CGI.
The acting is commendable as well. Additionally, the interaction between Ann and the King is true to form, and the most captivating aspect of the film.
