Is this a monster movie, a love story, or both? Whatever the answer, King Kong is one of the most cherished films of all time where an ape's love for a woman leads to one of the greatest movie endings in cinema history.
Blood even spills during some standout scenes where dinosaurs cannot defeat the tower that is Kong. Only beauty could kill this beast and it's done so in a very moving way.
