Review of King Kong (1933) by Joseph N — 14 Sep 2010
My number one child hood movie of all time !!!, I would watch it night and day and never get tired of it. this classic tale of beauty and the beast always fascinated me, because the story takes you to a place were the in inhabitants of skull island are natives and dinosaurs ! it always had me in owe because there's both humans and dinosaurs in the same area, when the were thought to be extinct.
plus the have the 25 ft gorilla king kong which was brought to life by stop-motion animation but it was still very effective and I found this kong a little better then the 05 version because in this one they show him more as a beast with no emotion, reacting violently from being taking away from his habitat.
this will always have a place in my heart just as godzilla does.
