Review of King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017) by Night4 — 20 Aug 2017
The movie starts out very strong, and I LOVED the first montage that shows Arthur growing up. It's well done, interesting and appropriate. Almost every other subsequent montage is worse, until the movie degenerates into a cacophonic phantasmagoria.
I've never seen a movie that displays such extremes, and it's a shame, because what IS good is *really* good. The bizarre editing, poor casting (especially Aidan Gillen), mediocre acting, and inexplicable story ruin it, though.
