Review of King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017) by Riley V — 16 May 2017
On this one, the critics shouldn't have a say. Is it a conventional King Arthur? Nope. Is it a conventional fantasy? Nope. Is absolutely entertaining? Yes. It's something fresh, edgy, and new, and I think that newness throws off critics, who look for familiar tricks done well.
Toss 'em. I 10/10 recommend this movie, and 10/10 would watch a sequel. Oh, and the soundtrack's glorious.
