Review of King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017) by Richard Lawson for Vanity Fair — 10 May 2017
While it is a bit of deus ex(calibur) machina, it's still satisfying, like finally figuring out that intricate combo move in Street Fighter or whatever. At its best, King Arthur conjures up those base and visceral pleasures.
