Sure, it's style over substance. But it's a heck of a good time, with a fun and fast-paced plot, great performances and great action throughout. There is some welcomed humour, and a brilliant score by Pemberton.

However, there are moments of dodgy CGI, and the writing could've been tightened and improved. It isn't master-class, but it doesn't need to be: it is an entertaining fantasy film that is easily rewatchable.
