Review of King Arthur (2004) by Timm S — 07 Jul 2009
Great film, takes the tale out of the middle ages and puts it at the end of the Roman Empire, it takes a little bit of time to get use to, but it's well worth it. I still can think of Mads Mikkelsen of anything but the bad guy from Casino Royal, but he dose play a good part, Clive Owen is a great Arthur, Keira Knightley has mostly sold acting, though the whole falling in love with Arthur bit comes out of no where. Ray Winston plays a great part bringing a lot of character to his role, while Stellan Skarsgard makes for an excellent villain, with a very creepy Bill Turneresk voice.
Worth a watch.
