Review of King Arthur (2004) by Ecnered S — 02 Aug 2010
** (out of four).
An overly Hollywood-ized look at the famous legend of King Arthur. It follows the usual Hollywood formula and becomes so bland that it's hard to remember the film even a day after watching it.
Arthur and his famous Knights of the Round Table want to head back to Rome, but they find themselves on one last battle crusade. When all is done they believe that someone must be declared King of Britain.
Mediocre in everyway. The worst part is the "modern woman" portrayal of Gwenivere. It features a very bad performance from Kiera Knightly.
