Review of King Arthur (2004) by Douglas W — 02 Mar 2012
I understand that there's only so many times you can show a medievil Arthur and his knights before it all gets a little redundant, but this rendition was just a strange interpretation of the old Arthurian lore.
Another point of contention, is the ambiguity of the relationship between Guinevere and Lancelot. Some scenes shows Lancelots interest in Guinevere (or vice versa) one minute and then in the next scene completely glosses over it.
It's like the writer or director dips their toes in the water but refuses to jump in. It's not bad but at the same time, not good either.
