Review of King Arthur (2004) by Monty H — 17 Dec 2012
An updated version of the King Arthur legend that is very satisfying and really bloody. Following in the footsteps of Braveheart and Gladiator, this film ups the action quotient with some truly awesome battle scenes. The cast is superb led by the always dependable Clive Owen as Arthur. Stellan Skarsgard is great as the leader of the Saxons who invade England. And Keira Knightley is wild as Guinevere who is very handy with a bow and arrow. Definetly a must see.
Arthur: "And it will be good of you to mark my face, Saxon, for the next time you see it, it will be the last thing you see on this earth".
Cerdic: "Ahhh, finally, a man worth killing".
