Review of Kindergarten Cop (1990) by Nathan N — 24 Aug 2009
This movie may well have been the greatest idea of all time. The thought alone of early 90's Arnold taking care of a bunch of weird little kids just fills me with joy. He screams, his face turns purple, he threatens them, talks to them like convicts before winning the kids over by reading stories about bears that go shopping.
And both parts work. Nearly the only thing I didn't care for was that action is shoehorned badly into the last half of the film. I want Arnold to dedicate all his energy to teaching children sit-ups and denying them access to bathrooms.
This movie is awesome.
