Take it as it is. Don't expect anything more than an Schwarzenegger movie and you'll be presently surprised with a little interesting action, tons of quotable lines, and some amusing dialogue, mostly from the kids oddly enough.
This is one of Schwarzenegger's better comedies and I enjoyed it as such.
