Review of Kindergarten Cop (1990) by Dann M — 22 May 2012
It's not a tumor...it's Kindergarten Cop. Schwarzenegger takes on comedy in this family film about a cop that goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher in order to catch a criminal. Director Ivan Reitman has crafted a smart and fun comedy that uses Schwarzenegger quite effectively.
And, Schwarzenegger himself gives a pretty good performance. However, there are several weak performances as well, especially the villain; who's a bad one dimensional stereotype. Still, Kindergarten Cop delivers some laughs and is a fun comedy.
