Review of Kindergarten Cop (1990) by Panta O — 17 Feb 2012

I almost forgot this movie altogether! I watched it (third time) after so many years on one of the Chinese cable networks in Xi'An and I have to admit - I enjoyed it again! I really don't know why I liked Schwarzenegger as an actor in his younger days, but somehow he knew which roles to accept and which to avoid! And this one was one of the well chosen ones!

Odd story, but very well done - not too much build up, just enough for a successful action flick with cute kids and situations cute kids can bring you in. But, of course, don't expect something which will blow your mind. It's a well made movie for the whole family you could enjoy watching just after a Sunday lunch or dinner... you'll forget it in few days and next time you see it on TV you'll watch it again and commenting how those kids actors are grown up - and even then they were good in their roles as they are now as grown ups! Except Schwarzenegger...  he's not better acting as a politician!
