Review of Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949) by Glyn J — 05 Jun 2007
The darkest of the Ealing Comedies, but made in such a way that the slaughtering of an entire family comes across like a quaint walk in the park. Hilarious. And Alec Guinness plays eight different roles (not even Peter Sellers achieved that!).
