Review of Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949) by Shazz M — 20 Jul 2007
They don't make them like they used to! My favourite Ealing of them all moves along steadily and so assuredly with its effortless wit and wordplay till you wholeheartedly root for the serial-killing antihero to get his just ducal rewards by whatever means.
Guinness' masterful performances still trample similar modern multi-character attempts after all these years and remind you he was much, much more than just "old Obi-Wan".
