Review of Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949) by John T — 03 Apr 2010
Despite playing 8 characters, Alec Guinness is not in the film very long, but he is great in all 8 rolls. However, Dennis Price as the lead does a great job, and Joan Greenwood as the love interest gives a fun performance, raspy voice and all.
Loved the voice over narration. A fun example of the morbid humor of British comedies of the period.
