Review of Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949) by Chris G — 18 Oct 2010
Wicked little black comedy stars Dennis Price as Louis D'Ascoyne, who stands to become the Duke of Chalfont if only he could get rid of (murder) eight other relatives, all played by Alec Guinness. The humour is dry but funny, Price is brilliant in his role, but the movie ultimately works thanks to Guinness' distinct yet funny performances of the eight relatives.
