Review of Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949) by Simon D — 06 Nov 2011
I really expected this film to be all about Alec Guinness playing so many parts and that the story and humour would be based around that but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. Actually, the story is good and keeps your attention throughout.
In fact, if different people had played the D'Ascoynes then it wouldn't have detracted from the film at all.
