Review of Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949) by Jeff D — 11 Jul 2009
Kind Hearts and Coronets is the darkest of comedies yet despite all of its mishaps, blunders, and fatalities it is charming to the very end. Dennis Price is strong as the murderous lead in this classic Ealing Studios comedy but his performance is overshadowed by the brilliance of Alec Guinness' eight performances.
Absolutely incredible.
