Not much more than a straight adaptation, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I find this to be one of Leonard's weaker books. At least the cast is great, particularly Rourke and Lane (although Rosario Dawson as a middle-aged Elvis-fangirl spinster is a weird bit of miscasting).
