Review of Killshot (2008) by Simon W — 26 May 2009
This movie in its current incarnation is a waste of time. The plot is convoluted, filled with insignificant details and non-witty banter. The cast has talented actors but they all give mediocre performances.
The director has directed a Best Picture, but mailed this one in more than the actors did. The only thing worthwhile is that it will be a footnote in Joseph Gordon Levitt's resume on his journey to superstardom.
He is the only character that breathes life into an otherwise bland and bleak timewaster. But it may not be the intention because this movie was supposed to come out years ago, and Johnny Knoxville was supposed to be in it, but his entire part was cut out, as well as alot of other stuff.
So either this movie was even worse than it is, or this is another example of a movie killed by idiot movie executives.
