Review of Killshot (2008) by Tomas T — 10 Jul 2009
Killshot is no doubt one of the better action movies made lately, Mickey Rourke is in his natural element being the ultimate bad ass but mr. Levitt steals his thunder giving top notch role ascrazy young punk sidekick.
While the actor side works very well in this movie it is the script that is unfortunately weak. Mixing a hitman, his crazy sidekick and average couple in middle of divorce is not the best way to proceed I tell you. While the hitmans story is intresting the average couple are not, also turning your mr.average into a gun blazing action hero raises some eye brows. Overall good entertainment, but sadly it could have been much much better with better script planning.
