Review of Killshot (2008) by Sergio E — 29 Mar 2009
Quite the miss. This is included in mickey rourke's comeback? I felt this went back to mickey rourke's previous characters, with the 'i'm cool' appeal. Even though it did have similarities to 'the wrestler' with him being old and over the hill trying to hang on.
I felt the emotion wasn't grasped even enough, emotional monologue seemed forced to me. Diane Lane's hotness/attire in the movie, and Joseph Gordon Levitt getting shot in the face, were the best things about the movie.
Not even close to the caliber of 'the wrestler'.
