Review of Killing Zoe (1993) by Jesse T — 26 Aug 2008
Hyper-stylized is usually something I enjoy in cinema, but this exercise in cinema excess was unenjoyable and incoherent most of time. Nothing made sense, and the ending (not to mention most other parts of the movie) were laughable at best, cringe-worthy at worst.
Roger Avary may have helped write Pulp Fiction, and maybe Tarantino DID steal some of his glory, but say what you will, Tarantino is a far superior filmmaker.
