The amount of negative reviews for Killing Them Softly is truly puzzling. I thought the film was brilliant, and as an admirer of director Andrew Dominik, I was very pleased with it. A crime picture that is wholly unique, expertly edited, and serenely imagined. I understand why so many people may have had problems with the film, it is a slow moving and very difficult and different film. I have never seen anything quite like it, and maybe that's why so many people had a hard time with it, because its not like anything they have ever seen before.

Since no one seems to be saying the obvious, I guess that I have to be the one who's brave enough to finally put it out there... Killing Them Softly was easily the best film of 2012 and the best crime film to come along in the last decade! Andrew Dominik proved his worth, and in my eyes, his worth as a filmmaker is limitless because of this film.

A simply genius piece. Not necessarily misunderstood, the negative reviewers seemed to 'get it', but they all seem to be a very stubborn and spoiled lot. Killing Them Softly is one of the best things to come out in years, and I feel like I'm the only one who realizes it.

I thought everything was absolutely perfect about it! The acting was incredible! Brad Pitt, Ray Liotta, and James Gandolfini are outstanding in it! I loved the characters! I loved the story! I loved the cinematography! I loved the way it made me feel and think! I loved Killing Them Softly!

Do yourself a favor. Don't listen to these reviews, and find out for yourself. This is a film of enormous importance and scale, and its trying to communicate with you. Listen to it.
