Review of Killing Them Softly (2012) by Evan D — 20 Jan 2014
Three crooks rob a card game involving some big time gangsters. Trouble ensues. What I don't get is why all these gangsters seem to listen to political AM radio all the time. Anyway, I wish Ray Liotta would do movies more often.
He brought enough to his small-but-pivotal role that I felt so bad for his character's outcome in the movie. Like, really bad. Despite its content and setting, I find that there's something very "Aussie-Cinema" about it.
Could obviously be the director's influence though.
