Review of Killing Them Softly (2012) by Tijn J — 19 Oct 2014
A smart analysis of capitalism and the damage it can do when greed and delusion become the prime motivators that is marred by being disjointed and an overall lack of subtlety. Thankfully its sharp dialogue and well-shot cinematography help make up for some of its problems, bolstered by some strong performances.
If you don't mind the point being hammered into your skull, it can be an entertaining, if not oddly paced, viewing experience.
