Review of Killing Them Softly (2012) by Jordan B — 30 Oct 2014

I have a bit of a soft spot for mob flicks and the like. (Then again, who doesn't??) This film is very good! It carries a unique artistic style in it's cinematography using lighting and slow motion in very clever ways.

The plot is smart and acting is on point fueled with political undertones. That being said, there are far better films out there in this genre. Unfortunately, it doesn't stand out enough to be long remembered.
