Works better as a nature documentary as a film. The acting, while not bad, isn't award winning; John Travolta's accent is awful and incomprehensible, completely negating about half of the dialogue; it's violent on the end of being cruel and sickening; it's repetitive.

There's a lot of stuff wrong with this film. It's a good concept, there's no denying that, and it's competently made, but it could have been handled a LOT better. If this film were more dialogue and less action, it would be better.

If it went all out and tried to be like The Sunset Limited, I think it would also be better. But in it's current form? It's only average.
