Review of Killing Season (2013) by Brett H — 13 May 2014

What a surprising and tense movie! Never heard of this one before until I saw it on Netflix one day as I was scrolling through for a new movie to watch. Travolta is a really good actor and De Niro is one of my favorites and to see them together for the first time was a real treat.

The ending was so-so but everything leading up to it was fantastic! Be warned though, if you watch this, then you'd better have a strong stomach because it is VERY brutal and there were a few scenes that even I was having trouble watching.

I have a really strong stomach when it comes to stuff like that too. The story is simple yet effective, the acting(I thought)was terrific and it's just fun to watch these two play a cat and mouse game deep in the wilderness.

Don't let the above score of 10% from critics fool you. Not a perfect movie by any means, but a damn good one to watch at least once.
