Review of Killing Season (2013) by Adam G — 27 Jan 2014
Unwatchable. The first twenty minutes is a bit tedious, but passable based solely on the promise of something more interesting happening soon. Unfortunately, the film devolves into one giant shoot/knife out as they run around chasing each other through the woods without resolution for 60 minutes.
The entire film exists solely because the script appealed to two ham actors who don't like to monopolize screen time and give long-winded soliloquies. The writer is the same hack who wrote Snow White and the Huntsman who seems to have the golden touch for getting paid and getting his work produced, but doesn't have any particular touch for writing good stories.
