Review of Killing Ground (2017) by Elaureys — 28 Jul 2017
I watched this last night expecting a lot from this movie (because other sites rated this above 80 percent). I was HUGELY disappointed with this. The first hour is all about setup, and you have to pay attention, because it is in chronological order trying to tell the story, but bounces around.
Once you get the story, and the "real action" begins, it is more of a suspense than a horror movie. I read that they compared this (and stated it follows) Wolf Creek--another Australian movie I had seen a few years ago.
Another movie that was supposed to be great, but was also disappointing (except for a weird ending). Killing Ground was a huge let-down. I really expected a lot out of this...and the way it came together was bad.
Nothing scary or really gory (if you have watched horror movies before).
