Review of Killer's Kiss (1955) by Ben W — 09 Jul 2008
Kubrick in development. its only his 2nd full length feature and while it doesnt measure up against his later films, you can easily see his experimentation and how he plays with elements to see if they work.
the mannequin scene is particularly good as well as the scene where the main characters friend gets killed. kubrick was a genius at cinematography. its especially high contrast b&w which makes for a great atmosphere.
