Review of Killer's Kiss (1955) by Jon R — 08 Mar 2010
Kubrick is terrific. There, I said it. Now let's get beyond that and focus on the film here. Killer's Kiss is a decent amateur film, but next to other film noir of the 1940's and 50's, it's stilted, slow (even for a 67 minute feature), and the dubbing is, well, annoying.
I'm glad that he became a perfectionist later on because Killer's Kiss is far from perfect.
