Review of Killers from Space (1954) by Private U — 22 Oct 2007
Peter Grave (You know the guy from Biography?) stars as a scientist trying to thwart an alien invasion involving radiation, giant cockroaches and lizards. But nobody believes him.
The aliens, have huge eyes and like to talk backwards.
However, I have to say that the title is a bit of a misnomer considering the aliens don't really kill anybody directly.
The Film Crew (Mike Nelson, Bill Corbet, and Kevin Murphy of Mystery Science Theater 3000 Fame) provide a very funny commentary track to this movie.
So if you're going to blow your money on a shlocky 50's cold war scare film that has more junk science than an Al Gore Powerpoint presentation, then by all means purchase the Film Crew DVD version of this film presently being released by Shout Factory Entertainment. Go on and treat yourself.
