Review of Killers (2010) by Scott T — 13 Mar 2011
As I expected this is a poor man's Mr & Mrs Smith or Knight and Day but was watchable. It's not funny particularly, Katherine Heigl does her Lisa Kudrow thing as usual (but prettier) and Ashton Kutcher struts around as possibly the most inept assassin around (he doesn't even spot Tom Selleck in a restaurant, I thought assassins are supposed to be trained to look at every face and know their surroundings, nope not this assassin! Plus he can't shoot for shit).
It's good to see Selleck back in movies despite hardly doing anything, much like all the other predictable caricature support cast. It's a light movie in all respects, light on laughs, action and unpredictable moments but everyone likes a movie like that once in a while and despite the fact I really wanted to hate this movie I couldn't too much.
It's okay and does everything that I expected it to.
