What was obviously meant to be a comedic thriller left the viewer completely in their seat with nothing more than a couple laughs, and wanting to hop over the register at Blockbuster in order take their ill-spent money back. The movie Killers centers around a couple, portrayed by Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher, one of which (Kutcher)was involved in some secret government agency. Heigl's character was unaware of this until several years after they married, when Kutcher realized that there was a bounty put on his head. They were very vague when it came to details about his profession, which made the storyline a bit confusing at times. They basically spend the whole movie dodging bullets and fighting with eachother. Admittedly, I did find the latter amusing most of the time.

The plot overall was predictable and, at points, seemed rather dead-ended. The fact that I could imagine exactly what was coming next in each scene disappointed me immensely.

Upon renting this movie I was aware of the overall negative feedback the movie recieved, however, I had hope that Katherine Heigl could save this movie for me, but sadly, she could not. Her acting was bright and comedic, however, her co-star Ashton Kutcher just did not match up. Despite the many obstacles his character faced throughout the film, he seemed blantantly uninterested and dull.

Overall, I can't say that I was completely disapointed by this movie, due to the fact that there were a few moments that this film did make me geniunely laugh. However, the combination of a predictable storyline and a bad casting choice did leave me a bit let down. It's safe to say that I would not recomend this movie for anything more than something to put on for background noise while doing homework or something more productive than watching this movie.
