Review of Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988) by Cody M — 23 Jun 2011
Fun, extremely silly low budget horror comedy about a small American town that is invaded by bloodthirsty clown-like aliens. Naturally it falls to a handful of young people to stop them from turning the residents of the town into cotton candy.
Sly, campy and made with a dark sense of humour, the movie makes the most of it's shoe-string budget does well stretching its one-joke premise to feature length, though sometimes it does get a little too shrill for its own good.
A cult classic from the 80s.
