Review of Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988) by Hobie P — 24 Nov 2011
Rating: B-, This is one of those "purposefully dumb ideas". It's meant to be stupid and thats the fun in it. I'm not afraid of clowns so it doesn't scare me, but it's far better from that unscary Pennywise the Clown from IT.
The film has some nice gags, and it pretty much delivers. I recommend you watch it as a double feature along with Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. These two are often paired together and go well with one another.
Tomatoes actually succumbs to it's badness and in a way becomes an actual so bad it's good film, which is why I like it more.
