Matthew McConaughey gives a stellar performance as a police detective/hired killer. Chris needs money fast to pay off his gambling debts. He hatches a plan to kill his mother for her insurance money and hires McConaughey.
Only problem is, Chris cannot pay the killer either. Ultra violent, like Pulp Fiction, it's Billy Friedkin at his best.
