McConaughey's acting was good. The movie was just off-beat and the director used a lot of unnecessary nudity. I like nudity, but it just seemed thrown in for no reason. Some parts made me laugh. The ending made little sense and made me laugh.
I'm not sure that is what they were trying to do. Some people would probably really like this movie but I didn't.
