Frighteningly disturbing. I couldn't wait to rent this film and I don't regret finally being able to watch it. However I think it could have been just as good without all the nudity and numerous times that the Lord's name was taken in vain.

However, many will say that all that was necessary because of the dark material in this story. The acting was good especially by Matthew Maconaughey. He was sick and twisted and yet chivalrous and gorgeous all at the same time.

Worst scene was the chicken leg scene. I'll never view a fried chicken leg the same again. I didn't like the open ending - I'd have preferred a definitive conclusion instead.
