I was pleasantly surprised at how well Matthew McConaughay plays his role. He really embodies this seemingly professional, but also sadistic and perverted mad man. As for the movie itself I felt that it lacked substance and some of the supporting cast didn't satisfy.
As for McConaughay, I hope he continues to do more serious dramatic acting.
